Scaling this WOD:

Focus on challenging yourself with a new skill versus getting a good score. For those with proficiency in the movements as written, aim to accumulate 8 rounds or more.

Beginner:

Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
8 kick-up to handstand or pike push-ups
1 lay to stand rope climb

The time has been reduced to lower the volume. The handstand push-up is replaced with a kick-up to handstand against a wall. Hold momentarily and come down for each rep. Most important is the practice of getting inverted. If this is too challenging, scale reps for the kick-ups or scale the movement to pike push-ups.

Intermediate:

Complete as many rounds as possible in 25 minutes of:
8 strict handstand push-ups
1 ascent, 15-foot rope climb

Complete the strict handstand push-ups within 3-4 sets or consider decreasing the reps further. Spend a few minutes working on freestanding handstands before starting the workout to develop this skill.
